About ADDRO

Introduction

The Anglican Diocese of Tamale covers the three Regions of Northern Ghana, namely Northern Region, Upper East and Upper West Regions. The involvement of the Diocese in human development is in response to the mission mandate of Jesus Christ to “bring good news to the poor, to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed….” (Luke 4:18). All development programmes of the Diocese are consolidated in the Anglican Diocesan Development and Relief Organization (ADDRO). The Diocese believes in a holistic ministry of saving not only the soul but the body as well.
